This time I'm not limiting myself to geekery, or trying to put a geeky spin on everything just for the sake of fitting it in to the theme of the blog. Basically whatever comes to mind, whether it be ranting and venting, reviews, recipes, randoms ideas, whatever really.
Now a little bit about the gal behind the keyboard.
I'm a twenty-something mother of a pre-schooler, married to my equally geeky best friend, and we share our home with two Alaskan Huskies. I really am a geek of all trades, lover of many fandoms/hobbies, yet I'm an expert of none. I'm a gamer first and foremost, and have been so as long as I can remember. I was about three or four when I first started playing my older brother's NES. After that, I just never looked back I guess. It's a little insane for me to look back now and reflect on how video games have evolved over the years, and how much potential they still have.
I'm also a lover of books, TV shows, and anime. I have also somewhat recently threw myself into the realm of comic books, despite avoiding them for many years due to my ADD. Unfortunately I would get about half way through a book before I realized I was just looking at the pretty pictures, and hadn't read a word of dialogue.
I also enjoy tea, moonlit walks, Celtic music, and Starbucks. So there, that wraps up my obligatory introduction. Let the adventure continue!
